The 80's were good up until a certain age ... i'd say 30's unless your were in stocks then it was good.

my 80's 3-13 years old so I got all the best cartoons all the best toys and all the best clothes ... T and C surf ... cotcha ... anything skate boarding.

Ok now GI Joe transformers smurfs ... fridays nights with Hannibal and the Dukes.
The goonies, back to the future, the real Karate kid, starwars, ghost busters etc.
MJ was still sorta Black and for 3 years after the 1980 winter Olympics hockey was relevant in the US outside the north east.
Also most of the best starlets now were born in the late 80's .
