I think prostitutes are really under valued and that profession should get the same status as other professional professions. Lawyers are more respected even though most of the time they are known as sharks. While a prostitute is always in the wrong no matter what they do. Treating you nice because is her JOB to do so but people still say they are NICE because of your money.

So don't have to crack your head so much to find the difference between porn star and prostitutes. Both just have unconventional ways to earn money but I think is safe to say that they do their part to earn their incomes.

Some of the replies in this thread show a very dim view of girls having sex for fun or money. They remind me of the attitude in the 60s and 70s or from people who are not getting any.

So if a girl has sex for money or fun is a whore, what does that make the guy fucking her.

I think the pornstars get 'market value' compared to some skeezer. So they typically are paid more then your neighborhood skeezer.

Especially now with not much work at all for porn stars. So many are escorting. One porn star I know of who just started escorting says she can finally use condoms and she sees no difference with having sex on camera and with having sex in a hotel room.

Yup, a cameraphone in the alleyway totally works - IF the "actress" signs a model release and the footage is used in either an artsy way, on a website, in some commercial use, or even for a "private collector".
