I am not crunching as much because we are having a heatwave, and it seems like my friendly power company is having trouble keeping up. We get a blip every hour or two and the power is off. My UPS is just enough for an orderly shutdown.

I need to get much bigger numbers if I'm going to continue with this.

I crunched 67,552 points yesterday, which is the best I've ever done in one day.. :pimp

What I meant to say is I might have to go back to $50 or maybe drop to $100. Yesterday looked good though.

No matter what happens I will keep it at the current level for at least another 14 day period after this one.

Here's a small tip to those who are crunching:

Go to some large mega-stores where they sell IT equipement including computers & electronics and install the BOINC client to some of them. Attach it to world community grid project with your account and that's it.
I've done this few days ago, and trust me, they usually don't have time to check out their machines and/or remove the software installed.

If they blabber something about you installing BOINC, tell them that you're testing the machine and its for a good cause anyway! :)

Same thing with libraries. I don't understand why people don't get this. When you are doing things that go to the common good you can get away with murder.

I'm adding up the stats now to see how everything checks out.

This contest will be up on Sunday. I think the next 14 day contest will be dropped down to $200 but this is still good money.

I'm not trying to be mean about this but I just want to milk this for as much research as possible.
