graphic processing unit. Some of the boinc clients will make use of the gpu (faster).

I see the world community grid (us) isn't listed as gpu enabled.
I was wondering how some of the guys crunching with us are able to do so many work units.

yes, WCG isn't there. Most of the ones there don't seem to be involved with problems here on earth. Would be nice to see WCG added there though.

I don't know how many of you have checked out the research pages but there are some interesting articles there. The clean energy project is something I'm really interested in. It seems they are adding larger work units for this one. It could be a way for some of you to earn more points by concentrating on larger pieces of data.
