The problem is, a lot of people aren't reading that part of it and are just assuming that it's all true. We've already been getting pissed off emails from affiliates asking what's going on thanks solely to this thread.

Publishing an unverified blacklist and following it up with a fine print disclaimer that reads "this list may not be accurate" is bullshit.

I see your point a bit. While it is hardly a "fine print disclaimer" on this forum (It's in the same font and clearly visible), I don't see any notice on that page he links to stating that it was collected in an automated manner and that it has not been individually checked.

Agreed that it might be a good idea to make that notice bold or move it to the top on the GFY post but I don't think he can edit it now himself an admin would have to do it for him.

Not a false accusation. See my post a few replies up. He clearly stated what the list was and was not. He stated that there might be legit reasons for a program to have it set this way and asked GFY users to check it for ourselves. :2 cents:

Say what? It's a list his programmer compiled presumably by setting up a program to automatically parse the settings which ccbill's affiliate admin reports. He is duplicating what it spit out. He didn't state "Here is a list of cheating scumbags which I have compiled and verified by hand"

Do you understand how programs work and that they usually are automated? I'd think most people here would. HE disclosed what the list was, although not in the best way possible and his site seems to lack this information.

I've explained how this list was obtained. All the data come straight from ccbill admin for every particular client account. It's RAW DATA


I've explained that some programs have pps or migrated to nats, so it's ok if it off.

I'll remove PinUp Dollars, LegalBait, Perfecto and others. But we need to work together to get accurate list and have this resolved with as many programs as possible.

For the most part that's technically accurate at least from the perspective of ccbill's system. Some have the settings to 1 -3 rebills respectively. I think you're trying a little too hard to crucify the guy. He could have explained it better and put a disclaimer on his website as he did in his GFY post (which hinted that there are legit reasons for this setting to exist) but I don't see a false accusation. It's an automated list reporting what ccbill shows in the affiliate lounge.

again - thread title and this list is 100% technically correct. the other thing is that some programs don't use their acc with ccbill and others are offering PPS which doesn't require rebills.

i've also decided to display those programs which offer limited amount of rebills. it's still important.

we can't get all the stuff on our own, so get yourself involved, notify the program and lets resolve as many issues as possible. I've got a few mails already from programs saying they are ok from now

You might consider adding a date checked field or specifying the general date in which the check was ran if you intend on leaving the raw list up for a while. A program might change the settings after noticing they are on this list and this might then make you look like you are deceiving people unless you have other proof such as screenshots or witnesses.

An easier to understand Disclaimer might be a good idea:

"This list does not necessarily mean a listed program is doing something unethical. There are legitimate reasons to have the current settings s3et in this way such as running a PPS only program. Please investigate the given program yourself before making a decision when using this data. If it seems suspicious please contact the program for an explanation."

I told him in the other thread that this list is a problem waiting to happen.

I read the entire post and did not have any trouble understanding what was said. I checked some of my affiliates on my CC Bill admin and pretty quickly figured out what was what.

On another note, the max rebills used to be 99, but was changed when Groobybucks actually had a member that rebilled 99 times, now there is an option for indefinite rebills.

Don't forget that these setting can be applied on a per affiliate basis. There's at least one on that list that I have 'unlimited' rebills for but you have listed as 'zero'.

So what is 'unlimited'?

BTW, is there any way to check if a CCBILL sponsor has rebills or not?

(Besides asking the sponsor...)

And any way if the Motherfucker Sponsor owner has cut the rebill but the member is still active?? Any way to check this with the subscription ID or any other way?

If we ask, CCBILL via email, will they answer if a list of subscriptions are still active or not?

I want to say that he mentioned Dreamnet on the list. One of our old legacy affiliates was set up incorrectly and I have fixed it. I don't want this to reflect badly on our new DreamnetCash.com program.

as i mentioned above, some programs have changed their settings once that list appeared. i'd rather believe in this, than different settings for some accs.

anyways i only welcome this. the idea of this whole thread is to get the issue resolved. so more 'differences' between my and yours accs "happens" in the next few days - the better it be.

none of those programs was listed at Signbucks Daily, they aren't that big so it'll be hard for webmasters to find them. it's rather waste of time than usefulness of making people aware on that - don't you think so?

This isn't a sponsor that has changed the setting once they have seen this list. I get rebills from them every month, for a long time now.

You might be surprised at the amount of sponsors that have individual settings for different affiliates.

How often do you update your list of "every ccbill program" on the site?
