 fake cops lawsuit
A $10 million lawsuit has been filed by Worcester attorneys Robert Scott, Esq. and Héctor E. Piñeiro, Esq. on behalf of a “John Doe” Worcester resident, charging civil rights violations by the Worcester Police Department and others. The lawsuit, originally filed on July 17th, 2009 and amended on Oct 20th, 2009 returns us to the Summer of 2006 when the Worcester Police Department’s decision to bring the Fox TV Show “Cops” to Worcester led to a major community outcry and the eventual dis-invitation of the Cops TV film crew. The lawsuit presents the following summary, “This is an action for money damages and other relief arising from the unjustified warrantless invasion of plaintiff’s home on the night of July 19, 2006, by officers of the Worcester Police Department and cameramen of the television show "Cops," during which the officers awakened the plaintiff & menaced him with guns as he lay naked and uncovered on his bed, and the cameramen trained bright lights and video cameras on the scene”. http://worcester.indymedia.org/node/69700 |

Not justifiable under these circumstances :(
	 |

Well hey... if his union deems it wrong and an apology was issued it must be wrong in the eyes of just cops....
What say you to that? Still justified? Or are you all just arguing about love/hating cops in general? Its ok... you can say some cops do wrong things... They wont come get you... |

this dallas cop evens the score

For the record - I couldnt find one single article on national enquirer regarding 7/11 stores being owned by aliens...

Wow, you dont even see speeders or other just like criminals flop around from a tase like that. That dudes legs kicked straight out from under him. Pretty fucked up to tase yourself... But no one else to blame there :thumbsup |

 100 pushed buttons :)
	 |

After watching again... the guy did get out of the car in the wrong manner. He did do the wrong thing.
Perhaps the cop did feel threatened. After the guys out of the car ... he fucked up. however. I still dont htink it needed to escalate to even getting out of the car. As you can see the officer had the taser ready before the door was all the way open. He was going to tase the guy no matter what im thinking. They are both at fault. But I think the taser was a step too much... Im done here... |

For years my buddy Mike was famous because a COPS crew was on a ride a long when the cops broke up a HS party and the footage was used in the credits in later seasons. |

We do NOT see what happened for this stop occurred.

cant say one way or another, but i DO HATE TASERS
just gives an excuse for lazy police work. "sum seems the least bit iffy, just tase him and forget about it. I'm sure we can charge him with SOMETHING once we get him downtown." |

And the rest of the police department are also guilty to some degree, because they don't arrest their rogue colleague. They let him walk free. Organized criminals if you ask me. A punishment of 3 days of suspension is not the same as prison. The cop assaulted an innocent with a potentially lethal weapon. Attempted man-slaughter. What a high-way bandit... The tazer has really made many cops lazy. Too often it is used as a standard tool when performing an ordinary arrest. Originally the tazer was meant to replace the pistol when the officer's life is in danger. Not as a "compliance device". The world would be a better place if the good cops had more influence in their departments. Unfortunately the most crooked power-hungry cops are the ones that rule their departments. Nowadays cops are more like a gang of thugs all wearing the same uniform. I feel no pity for the widows of cops. They chose to marry a guy who works for the mob. They knew the risk. :2 cents: |

Show me some proof of criminals in Cops being actors. If it is true there must be a ton on info online about. Youtube videos, etc. So, show us... |

So nobody can find any mention anywhere that Cops may be fake?
I mean we have articles saying that George Bush was anally probed by aliens (certainly possible!) and we can't find one whiny bitch saying that Cops was fake and they didn't get paid? |

remember the source is amadrunk joe here.

The situation escalated in the cops eyes in about 2 seconds. This is a cop that's afraid of his own shadow.
My wife's favorite show is Cops, and sometimes I watch with her. I'm always the one to point out that the cops threw a guy to the ground too hard, or they didn't give someone a chance to respond. But I know the cops have a tough job, and we don't get to see any good things they do -- only this kind of shit. There's a lot more good going on than bad. The media makes you think what they want you to think. How many people that hate cops actually had a situation like this happen? They only saw some video(s), and totally disregard everything else the cops do. |

Stop a red car, followed by a yellow/green/brown/blue/pink/black one. They always used to deny it and say bollocks it's an urban myth until Devon and Cornwall Police got investigated for it. |

As you can see, no one cares much when the cops do their job like they're supposed to. Because they're supposed to. |
