MONTGOMERY, Ala. ? A Dutch man suspected in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba was charged Thursday in Alabama with trying to extort $250,000 in return for disclosing the location of her body.

Her neck was broken Sunday, five years to the day after Holloway disappeared, and her body found by a maid Tuesday in a Lima hotel room registered to van der Sloot. things don't look good for this guy

These charges are an attempt to try and get him extradited to the US (not going to happen) charges in Peru are for murder.

i think hes framed, its all too obvious..... no trace of holloway for 5 years, and now he is extremely sloppy with everything? leaving a bloody corpse in a hotel room on your name... fishy

I feel bad for that Peruvian girl, not having seen the news and knowing who the guy was. She was about 16 when all the Natalie stuff happened, so I doubt she even had heard of the guy.

he picked the best possible place to get caught. He'll wake up with his balls in his mouth one morning.

I seriously hope the US leaves him in Peru, but that's a long shot.

Well, there was cameras showing him walking into the hotel with the girl and there was a camera right out in front of his hotel room. You see them both enter the hotel and his hotel room, but only he leaves in the morning.

He told the staff as he left to "not to disturb my girl", then
they found the girl dead in the room.

With that video evidence he is pretty much fucked!
