AAAAGH!!! Repair shop formatted my PS3!!!
Man am I pissed. I just got my PS3 back from the shop where they repaired the YLOD error it is famous for.
What they didnt tell me is they also ran a system restore and formatted my hard disk, losing me years of photos, movies and some savegames that took my hundreds of hours to achieve on games I was almost done with. I am really, really depressed, and my daughter was in tears when she found out her beloved star wars trilogy had been erased. Well, time to waste another few years of my life. |

yeah unfortunately when you got a YLOD you cant do shit, not even eject disks. I think the real mistake was taking it to the shop with the hard disk still inside.
And sure, I should have backed it up, but hell, they had no reason to erase it. |
