AAAAGH!!! Repair shop formatted my PS3!!!

Man am I pissed. I just got my PS3 back from the shop where they repaired the YLOD error it is famous for.

What they didnt tell me is they also ran a system restore and formatted my hard disk, losing me years of photos, movies and some savegames that took my hundreds of hours to achieve on games I was almost done with.

I am really, really depressed, and my daughter was in tears when she found out her beloved star wars trilogy had been erased.

Well, time to waste another few years of my life.

yeah unfortunately when you got a YLOD you cant do shit, not even eject disks. I think the real mistake was taking it to the shop with the hard disk still inside.

And sure, I should have backed it up, but hell, they had no reason to erase it.
