Patavax - Stop stealing other affiliate's custom made galleries

I don't like to call people out, but this is bullshit.

(None of the links I'm going to post are going to work since my post count isn't high enough).

User Patavax, gofuckyourself DOT com/member.php?u=82278, is stealing other affiliate's custom made galleries. The headers, the text, the images, and even the HTML source code are all stolen.

Here is an example of a page he has setup that is stolen from another affiliate: slutorgasm DOT com/galleries/WifeysWorld/850684/119.html.

And here is the affiliate who actually created that gallery: mature-beauty DOT com/pictures/wifeysworld/850684/.

I have taken screenshots for when he takes that page down.

And then this guy has the audacity to complain about his "sucking conversions" here: gofuckyourself DOT com/showthread.php?t=969242. If you actually created your own custom galleries and put some thought into how you promote your sponsors instead of ripping other people off, maybe you wouldn't have "sucking conversions".

Yikes! I've never noticed that page wasn't using an https connection with an SSL cert.

We use DHD Media as our payment processor and affiliate program. They are the ones who actually set the code for the signup page. I have sent them an email inquiring about this. Although I don't think it's going to be possible to change that page over to a secure connection since their system is rather old and they aren't exactly updating it anymore.

I could always add you through my backend system which is a secure connection.

I actually stand up for my honest affiliates and do not allow them to be cheated.

I have no problem with wanting to be competitive and looking at your competition and seeing how they are promoting the same sponsors you are promoting. This gives you an idea of what is working for them and then you can take that knowledge and improve upon their techniques to try and beat them. But just lazily and blatantly ripping off their hard work is disgusting. Creating custom made galleries is hard work and very time consuming.

So it's okay to steal his hard work and try to cannibalize his sales? Like I stated before, I have no problem with trying to beat him and trying to take his sales. But do it legitimately and honestly.

I posted this very same issue on another thread. Many affiliates are just lazy fucking pieces of shit. Patavax, if this is true, your a fucking retard.

Wifey, if this is true, back hack the IP and shut that shit down. Or get the IP and notify the provider. I am sure that most all galleries by adult programs are copyrighted. Some of you people never fail to amaze me...

I have a way to stop this kind of stuff from happening in the future. It's not 100% fool proof though. You would include some JavaScript that checks the outbound links on the page, and if they aren't your affiliate links, the JavaScript would change the links to be your affiliate links. So someone could steal your source code but their affiliate links would be replaced with your affiliate links with JavaScript. I would post a full example of how to do this, but I don't want the shady guys knowing how to defeat this technique.

Problem with that is I don't see any sites accepting that sort of gallery.

Have you considered temporarily suspending the affiliate to get his attention?

the layout and particular characteristics in which these pages appear have full copyright. Any violation of these rights like copying or reproducing these pages are illegal and will be prosecuted to the full extents of the law.

So, it's obvious he knows stealing HTML code is copyright infringement. Since you have the proof that he allegedly ripped off mature-beauty, you should just terminate his account. If you share blacklists with other sites, add him to it. That should teach him a lesson.

It even looks like the fine print on his site is copied from TheHun.
