Biggest problem is they're either:
a) hard to get to
b) illegal to get to
c) too dangerous to have coked out stars tripping around in :D
d) don't have on hand power / lighting facilities

I like finding and taking photos of crumbling rural homesteads in semi-obscure locations (mainly low traffic backroads). I frequently get emails from scouts asking me where they are. These are buildings that haven't been maintained for decades and are probably structurally unsound... yeah, a film crew banging through there would really work...

There's also the fact that they don't seem to be interested in offering even token compensation for this info, no worries, I'll do your job for you for free.
