So that's my part of the story. The whole drama started by John it's based on personal relations and there's nothing what could be explained in biz words. So grab your pop-corn and enjoy
I have contacted John about getting every NATS program listed as we did it with CCBill (it was my initiative and i didn't cooperate with CCBill that way). Why i didn't want to do it on the first place with NATS - because if CCBill program dies out i still get payment from CCBill. With NATS it's different and i don't trust as much NATS programs as CCBill. I also can be sure that the traffic i and other webmasters send won't be fucked by program owner. So i figured out we with TMM will both benefit by such cooperation - they buy ads so people see we are cooperating and i'll do my regular job (i hoped that ads will be a good sign for big corporations). Actually webmasters are visiting Signbucks Daily because there's no other such directory with so many programs in it. He agreed and that's where everything begin.
First there was delay in a month before they paid and another month before they have their banner up. I was freaked out why it takes so long to get any reply from him. i messaged him a few times what's the status of our coop and stuff like that and always get reply from him in a few hours or even days. In a few weeks he told me that Vlad is on vacations and he's the one to operate the campaign on NATS side. I was like - couldn't you tell me that before so we will be ok? In a few weeks Vlad came back and it took another few weeks to have their banner done. No communication or anything, though the campaign should be started like a month and something ago (in the way i do it with other people). Finally one day I got that banner, put it up. Then it was another minor issue with emailing nats clients about the option of getting listed when again we have agreed it will be done to announce the deal. And once it was announced at XBiz and boards it appeared it will be done in a few weeks (they have their flying schedule, though from the conversation i thought it'll be done once the campaign will be active). Another misunderstanding, but finally everything got ok.
So the first month was ok, i've sent a report on nats programs i've listed and updated and attached invoice. I've asked if it's possible to pay upfront or pick up different payment method for monthly payments because it's very inconveniet for me to cash-in checks. I first contacted John, then Vlad and in a week after invoice was delayed i got a response from Vlad that monthly invoice was paid. In the next day or two i got reply that they don't want campaign anymore because "no, you pulled it off ridiculously, i have no interest in renewing it".
The bottom line is that we have announced the deal on getting every NATS program listed. So there were some promises and i was mad because now i wouldn't be able to deliver it (i'm was always a guy of the word). It was a few times during our communication when i pointed to lack of one to John and Vlad. And it resulted into this drama. It was my first experience where i was treated that bad with a partner. So it was lack of communication on their side and 'ridiculously pulled' campaign on mine. We don't like each other, but we could overcome this minor issues, though John didn't want and made it public
Actually i didn't expect TMM/NATS will behave that cheap way. I've dealt with many advertisers at Signbucks Daily and there was no issue until yet.
Anyway this drama doesn't hurt me, you just promote my site. So thx for doing it. There's no room at Signbucks Daily for any kind of shit. I simply list all affiliate programs, monitor all the changes so webmasters are comming for that stuff. It's important for their biz.
About TMM and your products. NATS has number of issues as a product. TMM also is not the best company in public opinion because all that drama you got involved yourself over the years. This recession in the industry must be hitting you especially hard, so that's why you are so mad i guess. And arguing with media isn't the best way to do biz.
Anyway i'm not going to bash NATS or TMM anywhere for no reason. All my posts are and were unbiased, the same is all the stuff at Signbucks Daily. I'll just point to the real issues NATS got in affiliate perspective where it's needed (actually that's what makes you mad). But John, i just criticize your product for the real stuff. There's nothing personal and there's no attack, once you improve your product so there will be no issues with it - you'll hear nothing from me.
This drama is made from nothing and it'll result in timeloss from both of us. I've clearly explained myself. Hit me up on icq and let's figure out how to resolve it from this point.
Ahh. And btw $150 is ads rate at SBD. That's where that amount came from. It's not like it costs $150 to get listed ;)
