i remember there was FF plugin that could completely eliminate some posters
local ignore doesn't cut it

It hasn't been updated in a little while, I've been extremely swamped. And I started a version for Chrome but again, it fell aside as priorities took over.

StuartD, I wasn't sure if it was yours or CDSmith's, I'm bad with names and apparently with nicks, and feel like an ass for that.
Too bad your plugin is not ported in Chrome, would be helpful I think but it's not too huge of a deal. Keep up your priorities, that's most important!

yeah, I checked the Chrome API's once upon a time and found them extremely limiting in comparison to FF's. For exampe, there's no way to modify the right click menu when you click on things like threads or posts.

I haven't checked it out in a while though, so maybe one day I'll get back to it... if ever I can.
