This is very true. You can go to a rich neighborhood, and I have tried doing this, and you watch rich buildings and rich cars for free. You can take photos that last a lifetime. The guy in the 2 million USD car probably will not let any stranger take it for a short ride for free. A monetary payoff comes when someone gives you a few dollars. So often in life - you can watch for free. Some people even give out free samples for free - samples of food, free test rides of cars, etc. Of course, the dollar is the best thing because it can be converted into many other things very fast - what a nice currency. Have you ever tried to sell gold or other precious metals? Not so easy - it will not sell if they got rust, stains and filth on it.
Lol, botastic!
"WTF, on google you can find the answer to every question in human history, EXCEPT how to convert cams..
I also figured out having them come in a six pack was just enough to get the idea of the set across and six pack has a nice sound to it.
Was this while drinking a 6 pack by any chance? j/k it's a good idea.
Monitizing it is not the hard part. The hard part is executing it. To take it from idea to completion is the hard part. To:
1. find the time.
2. allocate money for it.
3. hire the people needed to put it together (or find even more time if you will be doing the work yourself).
4. Keep your workers on track, and actually have them complete what you invisioned in a timely matter.
5. Testing and more testing to make sure everything is functional.
6. Launching it, which will require more money for advertising.
Then you get to find out if it really was a good idea or not from the response you get from people. If it does stick and people use it, well now you need to either spend even more of your time running the site or spend more money to hire people to run it.
Then and only then if it was a great idea and it turned out to be a success that you can start brainstorming how to monitize it and start making your money back.
I've run that list above so many times through my head for ideas I have come up with, but in almost all cases I can't even get past #1 on the list. Clone 6 of me and I would be dangerous.

his checking account is also 2 million smaller too.
I'd have to be worth a couple billion before I would even think about spending that amount of money on a car. I would never do it, but I would think it would be more justifiable if you were making billions, opposed to some guy who is worth a couple million trying to look rich instead of being rich.

I haven't had the chance to meet him yet so I have no idea as to his wealth or how he acquired it but sometimes he comes to our monthly " Cars & Cafe " meet and brings one of the cars from his collection. He actually owns another Bugatti Veyron which is the limited to 15 edition Sang Noir along with various Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Bentley cars.
The dirt cheap price of real estate has me wanting to find something down there.
We visit multiple times each year and watched things build up and go bust. Now would be a good time to find or build something down there...just gotta really come up with something to convince my girl.
Fuck...I'll compromise. 6 months here and 6 months there.
