The UK is safe even when 10 year olds go out and tie other 10 year olds to the train tracks... yeah right. Maybe you should think out of the box boy. :2 cents: |
Detroit is a shithole, but how can you categorize it with cities that have car bombings and beheadings?
Dumb list. |
|
Belize City redefines the word "shithole." People shit into ditches along the streets and wait for the tide to wash it out. A building hasn't seen a coat of paint since the Brits gave them independence. Hotels lock and secure the doors at sundown for the night.
Gangs roam the streets. You can get fucked at the Post Office for stamps. And, the Brit soldiers take pleasure in the occasional kicking of some USA ass at the local pisshole they call a bar. Maybe things have improved since I was last there; but, I doubt it. |
Detroit beat the war-ravaged DRC? Damn....

In the 17 or so years I lived in Florida In South Africa I got mugged and had a knife pulled on me by four guys I saw countless shootings both fatal and non fatal. One of my school friends is in a wheelchair after him giving his keys to car jackers and they still shot him in the back. My mum had her purse taken from her while in a supermarket at the checkout.
We had a guy on the run from the police run through our back garden with a rifle which he started shooting with at the police. When we first moved over there we had suitcases in the hall way in the house which we were moving into. They got stolen.. My dad hated guns but ended up buying one We had bars on the windows We had a bread slicer stolen from our kitchen I could go on with my older brother finding a decomposed body in the veld ( open ground/bush) and one of my friends having his face stomped on in Hillbrow It was a very violent place to live but I still miss it for some reason ..Shame they cant get their act together and stop all the killings and violence Also forgot to mention our car being smashed up along with 3 other cars by some idiot drunk driver |

Which is safer SA or UK? Infact I cant believe im even asking this. |
Things in Venezuela generally are incredibly dangerous and Its one of the reasons Why I want to leave the country. The president being the other one.
I really dont want to leave, because I love my country, but last year I was in Buenos Aires and it was sad for me to realize that I can't go out at night and walk in Caracas because Its very likely that at the very least I will be robbed at gunpoint. |

world's most dangerous cities...

Do you know how many murders there are in USA each year compared to UK? No you don't you base your whole argument on opinion and this is what makes you retarded because your opinion is based on make believe. Half pint has lived in South Africa and in the UK. When he talks about his experience of danger which country does he talk about...? I doubt you will be able to work that out. You seem to be such a simpleton. I understand arguing you is like arguing with a 8 year old, as I have seen you argue with a brick wall on other boards so I will leave it here. put simply you are deluded if you think UK is dangerous |
Quote:
I do not understand why you are becoming insane when I was merely stating that danger is not what this thread was about. It says the "worst" cities. I have made relatively normal comments, wondering why a UK city was not on the list & also mentioning that Paris is damn dirty, which would make a worst city. 8yr old? It was only 10 years ago the bulger 8yr old killed another kid down some train tracks in the UK. The bullying in the UK is pretty bad now. If you had children you would agree with this. Lets not be proud of danger, worst, dirty or degrading. A fact is, in the UK, there was a rise in knife & gun crimes & this should be remembered that the whole world has its awful places. The stuff that happens in Baghdad & Pakistan. Damn, I have a brotherinlaw in the army & I do not like his tone when I hear him say "Cant wait to kick another few arses".... Im like, "what!". Peacekeeping should be peacekeeping. :2 cents: I would rather live here in Bournemouth where the sea air is clean, the beaches are probably one of the best in the world & the people are friendly. I have moved from hard or gun, baseball bat, tools & knife conflict areas in the UK & hoping to move to even nicer throughout my life. :thumbsup |
Beirut is actually one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in the world (im not talking about the muslim side)
|
I saw some new orleans and detroit postal today in places like wikipedia, and they look like Shanty town.. never though those places would look like some suburbs in Africa...
The world is changing, that's for sure. That's Obama's main slogan. |

The thing I found weird was when I was living is SA I thought it was normal because I was only 2 years old when we left the UK. I was brought up over there so all the violence and crime I thought happened every where. Florida is on the outskirts of Jo'burg and also near to Soweto so we did have a high crime rate. It was a shock when I saw policemen without guns over here in the UK and I have never seen anybody being shot, sure Iv seen fights over here but nothing like you get over in SA with guns. You are more than likey to have a gun pulled on you just over a stupid argument in SA rather than just a fist fight |

eh?
And the world has been cursed by the intellectual words of scottybuzz. |
Quote:
Guns being pulled in fistycuffs is more so true as guns are not allowed in the UK without a licence. However guns & knives do appear in fights. I can most definatly say that the knives were a major threat to doormen in London a few years back when I was doing that job. :2 cents: |
Quote:
Exactly the point I was saying in my past posts. Lets be glad of such beautiful places as the worst places can be right around the corner from you also! :2 cents: |

Bournemouth beach is full of hot babes in the summer time ..I love it down there apart from you can never park anywhere or get anything to eat because of the long queues in the summer time I think there is a good opertuinty to open up more fast food stalls on the beach front and make $$ from it |

Are you back in the UK now then? |
Quote:
We used to live in Sandbanks years ago before it become a millionares paradise and we normally go down to Bournemouth beach at least once a year. Studland bay is also nice and I had to go and check out the nudest beach there :) but did not go nude myself. Yeah been back over here for 25 years now but still keep in contact with a lot of my old school friends and some of our neighbours from SA. Thanks for the offer of a beer Ill take you up on that when we go down there again. We are going to be moving down to Somerset soon so if you ever come down this way I will return the favour |

Where is Baltimore on that list

It's all about perspective. I've lived in the country side in the Philippines with some farmer friends. Running water is a beautiful thing to have.

I lived in New Orleans for a year... It wasn't bad.

MONTREAL = certainly one of the worst in the world !
- Very dirty. - Very expensive. - Unfriendly people working in shops and public area. - Girls are ugly but think they are beauty queen. - Police everywhere to collect parking money and give tickets if you drive over 40km/hour but not there if you really need them. - Corrupted like a banana republic. And I live there. Luckily moving to germany soon. |

I dont think they put a lot of time in that list.
