yeah, i can't believe that canada doesn't ban it but there is one thing majorly different, the inuits are dirt poor, hell they aren't even dirt poor, they're dust poor. last i checked denmark is a pretty prosperious place.

as far as i know Inuits kill seals or whales or whatever to actually eat them - and maybe sell the fur. in small amounts. nothing wrong with that. but the candian seal clubbing industry is huge and hundreds of thousands get killed every year - small babies, right next to their mothers. with sticks. that has nothing to do with Inuits and their traditions.

Next time you hear a vegetarian giving an animal lecture, remind them that the machines that harvest the soy for their "soy burgers etc " kill , maim ,displace and disfigure millions of some of the smartest animals on earth.
