Yes, as I have been told they have been sending people on my list Russian messages that translate into "Die Imperial US Dog!"

Short ICQ numbers have been hacked and resold since the beginning of ICQ - it's not uncommon at all, actually surprised how long mine lasted

Annoying, but not a huge deal as I hardly use ICQ for the past year anyways, Skype is all I need.

Thanks for the offer, but they would likely then hack it again shortly after and repeat as I know others this has happened to and that's exactly what happened when they bought it back for $25-50

Yeah Gmail was also hacked the other day but soon as I noticed via Google's Monitoring I shut him out and changed the account info etc.... so he only got to send out about 15 spam mails there as I caught him within 10 minutes, lucky you to get one of them
