what free script is currently the best tgp script ?

Please keep in mind that this script shouldnt require you to compromise your server by its requirements :D

smart thumbs -- there is a tiny skim if you go free version but well worth it. Once your site is a success you can upgrade to paid if you don't want the skim.

Smart Thumbs, Would say. Once you get used to it, it is hard to start using something else... Well, I use tgpx as well, but it is not free.

I don't mean to sound like an ad here, BUT.......

If you're looking for as many free FULL scripts as you can use (NON skimming), BOTH traffic AND thumbnail management, in the same script, let me know. I've been running Tmanager for many many years now http://www.thumbsitehosting.com/products/tmanager-7

There's one catch though, you have to host with them to get the scripts for free which isn't a bad thing because it's one contact support, they deal with the tech support for both scripts and hosting, which is beautiful. Plus you can try out the scripts/hosting for free for 2 weeks !

In a case like this, it's great because you can get your server set up and open up as many sites with good free quality scripts that don't skim for just the cost of the domain.
