Budget day today

Alistair Darling will be up in a bit telling us what we will be taxed on next. Though, this is largely pointless as we are having an election in a couple months. Still, wonder what they will throw in to try to make the party look election friendly. Freeze booze tax? lol

I can't believe that by the end of the year they are putting 3p per litre on fuel. As if we don't get smashed enough at the pumps.

Pisses me off so much to know we just flat out get pounded.

Adding lots more tax may stop another recession like in the 90s.

Yeah i am watching it now they can't put fuel up again it is already £1.20 a litre here

They can and they are going to. Minimum of 1p a litre now, 1p a litre by Autumn and then another 1p by Winter probably.
