I was going to until i saw there is a line to fill out if your race isn't listed and it says "Some other race"

I threw it away after that.

Billions of dollars invested and if one's heritage doesnt fit into their 8 race boxes they are "some other race"?

They hire temporary census workers to visit homes to follow up on missing or incomplete forms. I guess you can say they technically work for the government, but really they are just average people in need of employment, who simply answered an ad for a part time / temporary job.

Likely they hate the government as much as you do.

Interesting but I feel after billions of dollars and ten years invested they should have a pretty good idea of way more than 8. I find it lazy and insulting personally. That's all.
