I already know what you are all going to say after reading this like why I didn?t get 50% upfront, ecc?? but one can only learn from ones mistakes.
Long story short, XXXDVDBUY posts on this forum he?s looking for someone to write reviews for his DVD site for seo purposes, he tells me he does not need a fast turnaround and we agree on 1.50 per review so I wrote 5 of them and because I got sick I didn?t log on to the site for a few days and he banned my account thinking I was a deadbeat, after telling him I couldn?t even get out of bed for 4 days I had to make a new account to write the reviews and continued writing them.
After about 2-3 months and 100 reviews later I tell him he can start to send me my money as I wanted to be paid for each 100 reviews, he told me he could send me a check or do a money transfer to my bank account, I preferred check.
The address I gave him is a valid military po box address as my father is retired air force and is considered STATESIDE shipping and needs to be absolutely shipped using the regular USPS post office and not a private courier like fedex,dhl,ecc, what does he do? He ships it through private courier and it comes back to him and tells me it?s an airport address and I have to explain again why it needs to be shipped using USPS. He told me he sent it off correctly on the 17th of February and seeing as a letter does not take more than 10 days to get here I sent him an email after 21 days and have not received a response, there were other reviews that I was writing and now I can?t even log in to the account on his stupid website. So now he has his reviews and I?m out 150 dollars.
Let this be a warning to fatfoo and jfalcon who write reviews and blog posts, do not work with XXXDVDBUY BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER GET PAID.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you at least have an epass or paypal account for him to send the money to? It appears as though at one time he had intention of paying you, but after the first one got returned he probably didn't want to bother with the hassle anymore.

but he "claimed" it was sent the first time.

i have paypal and epass of a friend and he refused both and only wanted to do bankwire but i convinced him for a check because bankwire costs me alot for the transfer.

as for the airport address he is talking about, my father who lives with me is RETIRED US AIR FORCE and married and italian woman and stayed in italy where he still is now and i live here also. the address i gave him is a BONAFIED address and i have recieved everything from magazines, books, dvd's, shirts and anything you can possibly mail and there was no problem, but there is only one thing, anything that is mailed to this address needs to be mailed through the REGULAR USPS POST OFFICE and not a courier like UPS-FEDEX-DHL because the way it works is that all mail goes to an airport in new york then they see the address and it gets fowarded to my fathers post office box in italy, the reason i gave him that address because it takes 5-10 days and you pay as if it was stateside mail, if you send it to my italian street address it takes almost 30 days and costs more.....now what do you think i insisted on?? the american address and i stated 10 times that it needs to be sent through the post office and not a private courier and he did the opposite and sent it through a private courier and it came back to him, so i explained to him in GRAVE DETAIL that it needed to be sent through the regular post office and just to be on the safe side if it came back to him i gave him my italian street address, i'm not hiding anything or hiding my identity.....i mean shit i'll post my address here right now i'm not scared.

as for the broken english, i admit being italian my english is not 100% perfect as i write real fast and alot of times i don't capitalize the i's and write "i" instead of "I" but i made sure that all his reviews were 100% perfect and corrected.....you can go read them if you don't believe me.

so i'm not lying, i don't lie and i have email transcripts of everything we talked about.
