I read about this earlier this morning on another site, but hadn't seen the video. It's disturbing knowing those are his last moments. If the bag was small enough to swallow he probably would have just gotten a fine and a slap on the wrist. So not worth your life

On the taser it's hard to make a call on that w/o knowing what is being said. If he's struggling and trying to tell them he is choking when he's on the ground before being tased, which I think may be the case, then there should be some diciplinary action taken. If that isn't what's being communicated though, you kind of have to expect getting shocked. I mean, they tase little kids down here for less than that.

i recall seeing the video, the officers were trying to help the guy after they realized the tazering caused him to loose muscle control, he was even pointing into his mouth to indicate the problem.

Keep in mind its not what you or they say, its what you or they can prove. And when 2 cops corroborate a story, that story regardless of what really happened becomes a material fact.

In short dont ever physically fight with cops it will never end good and when in custody it gets way worse.

That is why cops should know Brazilian jiu-jitsu/grappling to control and pin a person trying to resist. Basic controlling techniques with body positioning could have avoided a loss of life.
