usually support is way better than this but i have been waiting almost 24 hours for a simple email quota increase

are all your support people watching the Olympics?

I hate to resort to the boards for something so simple

i think its because of their shared hosting business. its hard to make some $10 month clients happy when a good support guy may run you 40-50k+ a year

you have to be very efficient at it and you still have the chance of a pissed off client going to the boards about it, and everyone seeing it and getting a bum rap

think about that

I have used liquidweb.com and theplanet.com for years without issues. Maybe I am just lucky but it is amazing to me how bad the support seems to be for the main hosting companies I see on this forum.

Sorry but I have disagree... I've been with Phatservers for years and they have cheap shared servers as well... sure you see a scattered post about them and all the other hosts out there but nothing compared to Webair!

And I laugh at this "oh it's only a virtual account"... it's still a customer!!!

Absolutely, Phatservers/Amerinoc treat ALL customers the same.

If you're a hosting company and you're going to offer shared/virtual hosting you better treat all customers the same support wise. If you don't want to then don't fucking offer the service. Amazing.

I love how Webair is always so top notch, but I continue to see threads like this posted on GFY over and over and over again.

Makes me shake my head.

You only hear the bad, noone praises when things are going well. You might just hear bad because they have a lot of clients?

To explain my situation/issue.

They have the support available. they need to be able to track support requests. if its something simple i might skip the ticket.
