Firefox 3.6 A POS!
Firefox has always been a good product for me and I have used it as my main internet browser up until this recent release. It has a memory leak somewhere because I will have it open for 8 hours with a few tabs and look at my processes and it's using 500,000-600,000k.
what do you suggest besides firefox and not IE? |

FF works flawlessly here for me, it must be some plugin messing things up for you...
but another good alternative is chrome

FF works fine for me but I feel your pain. I load HUNDREDS of PAGES every few hours for research related to my SEO services and the memory problem can be a pain in the ass. I might be moving to Chrome soon.

Holding onto 3.0 since the mouse gestures plugin I favour doesn't work with 3.5
there's another one but it doesn't take diagonal gestures. |

It's google's way of saying, 'Hey there, use chrome or we will fuck your shit up'.

I did 3.5 for about 2 days and reverted back. Not going to mess with 3.6.

3.5 was the worst for me. It kept crashing and having all kids of issues. I stopped using it for a while the when 3.6 came out I updated and it works great.

FF has had the memory leak for years, and it's not the plugins. They might contribute to the problem, but the problem is FF.
Chrome is pretty good, but I found it to be more stable a year ago. I always seem to end up back with IE. |

FF is good but they have had memory leak problem for a while now + shitty plugins causing me major headaches. Chrome is damn fast and clean as soon as roboform works well FF can kiss my ass.
