Hey guys,
I currently have a growing collection of web-2-mobile offers that I?ve launched in South Africa, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Canada.

My primary focus at this point in time is obtaining traffic for my South African and Canadian offers.

These are the types of offers I would be running in South Africa for now...

If you are targeting South Africa It would be a good Idea to have a language converter for the Afrikaans speaking people as well

Yea, we are working on that as we speak...we were going to initiate a converter or possibly just translate the sites. For now, I am just looking to get them launched obtain traffic out there as the majority of the web users in South Africa speak english and we are currently having a really good run with search marketing at the moment.

Nice I used to live over in SA and there is big chunk of money to be made with the Afrikaans speaking people as there are a lot of them who speak very broken english and cant read it very well. Afrikaans was our second language when I was at school over there Dont know if that has changed now though

most likely the people whose main language is Afrikaans have less buying power than the English speakers.

This is very true...
Another problem is that my websites are intended for mobile users, the actual website conversion process is initiated once the user enters their mobile number on the website, then they must enter a PIN code that they receive via text message. The issue in South Africa is many Afrikaans dont pay their mobile phone bills, which makes it very hard for me to successfully charge the users via text message subscription.

We have much better billing success rate with the english speaking South Africans generally.

So, I just got a response from Grand Slam Media about my South Africa traffic and it sounds like we might be a good fit.
