One common misconception about analysis is that oftentimes many people equate THINKING/RESEARCH/ANALYZING an issue with WORKING on the issue. I agree that you're working but there's a crucial and necessary stage after analysis-- IMPLEMENTATION. I used to for sure. Now I just get on with everything before I have time to convince myself to leave the project alone. I get some failures because of this, but much better results in general.

I guess what makes this problem particularly harsh is that many people equate thinking/researching with actual working. Oftentimes, the 'test run' is the actual research!
