Well I learned this line from my days on wall street looking for which stock to invest in.. I made money and I lost money indeed. But I did not sit on my ass and wait for it to come to me, I took the risk and it paid off. Yes, I lost money as well during the learning experience.

Ok, about acting... You pay the talent their worth and you get better results.
I am not talking about paying a girl $1000 per scene, selecting the right talent I will pay her 10 to 15k each, meaning she will do it til she gets it right just like in Hollywood.
Each project may take a full month to shoot in order to get the results demanded.
