I do a lot of professional video production, and I can tell you that the video you want is going to cost around $600 to $800. Voice over cost, buying the images on istockphoto, and the editing it.

All you need is a decent editor. Most of that video you posted was just stock footage with titling so no need for anyone to shoot anything for you. I would say the guy who put that together was not really "pro" so to produce a video like that should be easy, just about anyone decent can pull it off. You most certainly will need a good person for voice over. If you skimp on that part the video will be unwatchable or at least not every compelling to the viewer.

do not get carried away trying to impress webmasters, basic editing, nice easy clear images and animations are all you need to impress and come off pro to surfers, again delete everything webmasters and video editors have to say how easy or complex it needs to look

that type of stuff 2 minute long expect to pay 800 bucks, can be less or more depending how much footage you need and how much custom animation you want, quality voiceovers for 2 minutes will cost you 150, musci sound effects etc maybe 40 bucks

If you have an average video camera go downtown with a Tripod....shooting stock like that especially with those effects does not have to be shot by companies like mine....

If you want to save cash just shoot it yourself when you are out anyway and send that to the editor as well

I really like the livereviews professional looking, hd intro video. but it depends on your product, it can also be a mix of both a live person talking and animations / demos
