why cant i view source?

I opened a .html file from my desktop and i can view source np.. but when i try and view source on any website.. it does nothing after i click on 'source'

wtf is this all about? I rebooted.. and everything was fine 2 days ago.. no problems.

any ideas?

If your using IE, clear the cache, that should fix it.
I think its related to the problem of IE only allowing pics to be saved as bmp's as well.

happens to me too. i think the HDD is too big. You have to clear your history and temp files and then it works. fucking annoying though MS.

are you using xp that was upgraded from some other version of windows? this problem happens on my upgraded xp from windows me

but my other computers that were bought with xp installed work fine

happens to me sometimes too, very frustrating, usually works itself out. seems like the same deal as the problem with IE saving GIF's and JPG's as only BMP's. Just empty everything, cache, history.
