Though, where you are could give some great off-piste runs :D

damn jealous not to live so close to a resort like that - I'd be up there every weekend!!

Living by the sea, we have to travel 500km to get to ours, but we have an apt there, so it cuts costs a lot...

We bought the apt before it became the largest skiable are in France when two resorts hooked up.... 425 km of pistes

We head up there at least twice a year, but still, it's a hike... 5min away and I'd do sod all on the puter!!

Summer is never a real summer.
And the only snow im seeing 300days out of the year, is snow thats very wet and comes in drops. We call it: FUCKING RAIN.

Fuck, I came on GFY to look for someone, and found this thread. I live in South Florida and love snow. I f-ing love snowboarding! Thanks for making it worse on me. I'd love to see what my dogs would think in some snow. They would probably flip the fuck out!

Those pictures were taken yesterday... last night, we got 11 inches dumped on us...

Checked out the slopes near you. Pretty nice for close by, you should be able to hit 100 days no problem there.

We are going to Colorado in Jan, and I just got back from Vail over the Thanksgiving week. It was so nice to hit some snow! 5 days in for me so far!

Yeah the slopes near me aren't bad for being in Iowa.. Nothing like the Colorado mountains.
