Well, seems to me that's the big lie right there...

From all this stuff coming out in these "climategate" emails , the world is infact cooling... for the last 10 years or more.

They've been cooking the books with "value added data" and the source codes from their programs and software is showing comments like " here's the trick to Hide the decline " etc

There's a lot of money to be made via the global warming scare.

I don't know what to think about climate change, but the fact that the science seems doctored makes me wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.

What the news somehow is leaving out of these reports regarding the people involved with the scandal is that they are all related the the UN climate research institute, this isn't just a case of a small set of scientists lying and doctoring data, it's the scientists that publish research for the UN and affiliated government organizations

It's undeniable the world is getting warmer. Melting glaciers, ice caps at the poles and rising temperatures. The doubt is why. If it's human abuse we can put it right, if it's not we could be in for a far harder ride.

Dealing with changes in the world climate we can't control will mean spending far more for far longer to protect ourselves against the outcome.

I also agree the climate is changing, I also am sure it is a combination of events, partly from the Earth and partly from Man. Those that think man can not alter the climate has lead a very sheltered life. It has gotten much better after the 70's compared to say the 30's. Nobody stopped there, while they were mining the gold they did find huge copper veins. This caused a major copper boom, one that was so bad most vegetation was dead or in the process of dieing. Majority of all drinking water and even the aquifer had been polluted. They paid workers extra just to live here because the smells were so strong from the chemical processes they were using that it could actually be smelled close to 50 miles away. That is just one small town in a time of railroads and horses. Man can do plenty, since the only real time that matters to us is the time our race uses
