Nothing local about them.
You are obviously one of the "Conspiracy Theory" brigade who think everything is a world plan to take over everything. Good luck with your theories.

Been ignoring you Paul (hows cancer) since I did not want the thread to fall into a climate change argument.
I also agree the climate is changing, I also am sure it is a combination of events, partly from the Earth and partly from Man. Those that think man can not alter the climate has lead a very sheltered life. It has gotten much better after the 70's compared to say the 30's. Then again in the early 1900's and before the amount of wreckage that could be accomplished even on small scales were mind blowing.
Im my area when the gold just got to had to get to, hundred of millions of dollars of it produced in days,24/7 which has its own complexe sey of chemicals that not only poliute the land for decades or longer - nothing grows and if it does it is unedible and poisonous. Nobody stopped there, while they were mining the gold they did find huge copper veins. This caused a major copper boom, one that was so bad most vegetation was dead or in the process of dieing. Majority of all drinking water and even the aquifer had been polluted. They paid workers extra just to live here because the smells were so strong from the chemical processes they were using that it could actually be smelled close to 50 miles away. That is just one small town in a time of railroads and horses. Man can do plenty, since the only real time that matters to us is the time our race uses
