Now surely this is way worse then the PPC thing for what is fundamentally 2/3 generic words and could never actually be trademarked.

Now imagine some affiliate of HiGR using PPC gets the prominent spot and they pay him like $30 per signup and the user cancels his subscription after a month.. they make next to nothing.

What are your experiences with HiGR - how many rebills do you get on average?

The other thing is:
1) there are TOS for a reason - if the affiliate didn't act against them, then by all means - pay the man.

My thought would be that most people who sign up for the site are doing it more out of curiosity than sex appeal, and that retention would be less than your average site. I was given a pass years ago because I wanted to check it out, just to see what the videos were like. I logged in once and I think I scrolled through parts of 3 videos and never logged in again.

I don't know him. And I never insulted him in this thread either. Though he has insulted me several times. He says we met in L.A., okay. I didn't remember it. I was having a good time. (imho) you have to ask yourself: WHY does HiGR act like this? ..is it because they can't retain their members? ..Imagine HiGR got the #1 spot on google and they get a signup - they get some bucks but after a month, the user cancels his subscription.. they still make some money. Now imagine some affiliate of HiGR using PPC gets the prominent spot and they pay him like $30 per signup and the user cancels his subscription after a month.. they make next to nothing. What are your experiences with HiGR - how many rebills do you get on average?
