Camtraffic as I shared last week. The plan is to have that stick removed from my ass that people on here complain of. OK I joke, it is to remove what skin cancer I have left around my wound that was left open. Then if that goes well, hopefully the plastic surgeon group can start in on closing up the wound that was left open from my previous surgery (1st round of removing the skin cancer). Now since I want dual amputation in the future anyways. Plus if you remember that GFY donation event that someone held for me. Well If I ever wish to use the cash on that chair I wanted to get. I would need to have at least 1 removed anyways. Well I want to remove both.
So knowing that the plastic surgeons will have a much easier time closing the wound up. They can use a leg.

Thanks Dav3, mrpeabody, and PBsuperstars - btw your nick still makes me think of peanut butter sandwiches. Yeah I am just a nickname, that some get to meet if they are unlucky. Perhaps we can do something in the future. Yeah I bled, my hemoglobin was at 4.2 by the time I got here and I felt wrecked. I knew it would be close. Well blood is back to normal levels pre surgery at least.

I was as sick as a dog with a convention cold or flu when you approached me at the poker table. Was not shaking anyones hands at the time and was out of it on cold medicine waiting around the table trying to find steve lightspeed as he had/has some issue with me. Anyways again was nothing personal and you did approach me.

Yes Evan it is fucking rough with liking food like I do and being in the hospital. Do not even have my spice and condiment kit with me this time either. Did not plan on being admitted, so did not bring it. Seriously sucks. Good news is Standford is one of the better hospitals food wise. They have a "local organic" menu available and the regular food is not terrible like other places (very little frozen prepared items). What does suck is often I can at least depend on a break and use delivery. The restaurants here that deliver only deliver to the front desk or the ER front door - no patient rooms. Fucking crazy. Though I am sure some pizza places may go inside. Still stupid though and not hospital policy either.

MaDalton, nah I do not really need luck. Perhaps the doctors do. See Murphy hates me and has it out for me, but fate or whatever you call it also has it pre planned that I must pay for anything and everything I ever do. If murphy causes or plans for pain - Destiny will make sure I am alive and awake to feel it all. That is how it always goes. Was why I was not freaked about finding the pain reliever. I already knew in my stomach that somehow my trip would have to cause me pain and nothing is supposed to go that easy. So when I got the script for the medicine I was ready for it to go wrong, which it did and I did not get it filled until the last moment, then of course it did not work worth shit and just made me have an upset stomach. It is all cool though.

p.s. a note on perspective ---

In the summer i fell on my motorbike and slammed my leg into the chain guard, my leg swelled up smething fierce in one small area on my shin, i went to the doctor he said its just burst vessels , come back in a month. I went back a month later , there was still a big knot on it. I asked " how long until it goes away " , he replied " that's just how your leg is now ". I was pretty bummed, my leg is all funky looking for the rest of my life.

PS I am back. I can not deal with the waiting. It is like waiting for a damn execution. Even if I have to deal with phone access.

Nurses stopped wearing skirts by the time I was 12-13 years old, and that was about a quarter of a century ago. Most all just wear nurse scrubs now which are nothing more than colorful smocks or shirt type things and scrub pants. Some wear doctor jackets/coats. None wear skirts though, if you see a skirt they work in admin.
Best you may get is a few down blouse shots if someone was interested, since the smocks have a deep V neck that goes to about the mid chest length. Technically they should wear shirts under them.

Next issue is most nurses in this area are Vietnamese or somewhere closes. Not my thing and to top that off, many are older. Have not located the Stanford nursing school staff yet.

I was lucky enough to meet Dave and his new wife the day they got married. What was impressive was what a great family they have. Why they picked a day that hot to get married outside is beyond me. What was it, like 120 degrees in the shade?

Cause I wanted to get married on the 4th of July. Was the only way I could think of to make sure most all my friends had the day off each year, plus I not only get free fireworks on my anniversary where ever I travel in the US. I can get away with a BBQ or something easy going. so that is why.

It did not reach 120 that day, was close. But hey I did spring for outdoor air conditioning, tents, and free drinks.

I just remember the heat popping the tire on a trailer next door during the event, well atleast no humidity!
Other than the heat, it was a really good wedding!
