Netscape putting an end to pop-ups?
http://zdnet.com.com/2100-1104-977767.html
"The pop-up ad is so negative right now that, over time, it will be all but gone from the landscape as advertisers work to find new and more palatable ways to get their message across to consumers," wrote Jupiter analyst Michael Gartenberg in an e-mail interview. |

Don't think Netscape could put an end to anything, they have no power. Add in AOL users...most AOL users barely understand what a 'browser' is, let alone know how to modify their settings. Even with the feature available...a huge % won't use it.
