Have you ever thought about suicide?

Curious - have you ever SERIOUSLY considered suicide?

A lot of people asked me if I did for my bankruptcy - not for one second. It's just stuff.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever really entertained the thought seriously.

Sure I've stood up on a high balcony and had flashing thoughts of jumping and the like, but they've been more about the rush than ending my life.

I Know it's a serious matter and one that in reality is a mental illness a lot of people don't' want to talk about.

Have you ever hit a low that bad?

If a lot of people asked you if you contemplated suicide you might want to get some help as well.

Having someone ask is one thing, having 'a lot' of people ask is sure signs you are sending signals.

Or maybe this is all just a bullshit attention seek like most your 4-6 am posts.

I don't believe suicide is about bad THINGS happening, I believe it's about a malfunction in the brain - mental illness - depression, etc...

outside stimulus can trigger this but it's more internal than external.

yes 1 time. But once you get those thoughts you also start thinking logically. That its an easy and egoistic way out. That the problems aint worth your life - any problem is not worth your life, your life is the most valuable thing in the world. More important than anything else - so also way more important than the problems you're having. So this one SERIOUS suicide thought lasted no more than a few seconds.

Loosing a million dollars wouldn't make me think of suicide. I mean you made it once so you have what it takes to be successful. Alot of very rich people have been on the point of bankruptcy at one time or actually lost the lot and started over.

I can't think of anything that would make me feel that way. I'd be more likely to run from my problems and start again if things ever got THAT bad - much better than ending my own life.

That's the only time it's ever popped into my head, it wasn't particularly that I wanted to kill myself, it just appealed to me for a fraction of a second for some reason...

Sleasy, I've know you a longtime and I never thought I'd see the day you would dwell on this kind of shit and the crap you been talkin the last few months.

So you lost a friend and some money, it happens and will again, so get over it!!!

Others, on here, have lost more friends and more money but but you don't see them on here with these kinds of thread, dwelling on their loses.

I hope this is some kind of marketing ploy...hit me up on icq and I will do my best to help you get through the downer times, if you want to talk

And you know I know what I'm talking about

Suicide over bankruptcy? Good lord. Being millions of dollars in debt because of getting screwed over... maybe I could see possibly considering the idea of suicide. But after bankruptcy? Yeh, bankruptcy must absolutely totally blow... but it's also freedom in a sense.

Suicide is a thought during a weak moment. Ups and downs. Ride the coaster. It's a wild one.

Some things have happen and I have thought shit I wish I was dead but I think it was me being upset and just thinking that isn't really like I thought boy I'll just off myself. I don't even know if that makes any cents or not. I have had the unfortunate situations where I have had 3 friends kill themselves and it did fuck with my head. One girl hung herself in a tree at midnight only for her kid to wake up and find her. That was sad. The other girl hung herself in the garage on x-mass for her parents to find her on x-mas day, now that was soooooo fucked up. The last one was a guy who lived with his sister and her family, the family went out x-mass shopping and came home to see he had blown his head off in the living room right next to the x-mass tree.

Nope. Cant say I've seriously thought about it.

May jokingly say something about it but never more then that. I value everything life has to offer and I'll be dammed if I'm giving up on anything

i could see if you were in a tight situation, but i value life over stuff. if i had to give up everything and live on the street that would suck, but wouldnt want to loose my life over that.

the only time i would ever possibly see suicide is if I was going to prison for life for something I didnt do

Never ever, my life is too good. I'm not a millionaire but I earn good money, I have great friends, I have a hot girlfriend and I live on a small island where its sunshine and hot weather 8 months a year.

I've also never uttered the words "I wish I was dead" either. Heard friends say that at times and thought what a fucking moron wishing life away. I'd rather be flat broke - just getting by paycheck to paycheck - and healthy with good with friends than mind blowingly rich and alone.

I never considered it seriously, but the idea crossed my mind once or twice.

No. I bk'ed $1.7M a year ago. Went from a 4k sqft. extravagant pool home, w/ nanny and maid. Vacations 2x yearly and two nice cars to... zero possessions.

Bankruptcy didn't even phase me.

Two ways to look at it: live and learn (or) shit happens.

Anyone at the point of seriously looking over balconies, needs to be medicated for a biochemical imbalance caused by overwhelming stress and possible lack of sleep.

my cousin killed himself in 1996. his uncle killed himself in 2000. so my family has a history of it. me, never. as far as fianaces go, i'm too conservative to loose anything. also too conservative to actually make a huge jump up lol.

if i somehow lost it all, i'd move to a remote island in Thailand (likely Koh Bulon), build a thatch hut, and live off of the land. one hell of a lot better than offing yourself. all you need is a plane ticket, and you can live on nothing, and still have a good life.

You obviously arent married or have kids.
If I went to a remote Island they would find me. So would everything and everyone else im trying to get away from.

I think it would be easier to just pull a trigger.
Thank God I dont have a gun anymore.

Ill just self destruct in other ways.
