The committee will recommend that Canadians caught with less than 30 grams of cannabis -- roughly the amount that fits in a small sandwich bag -- should be given a fine akin to a parking ticket rather than be criminally charged, sources have told Global TV's news program, Global National.

30 grams is a small quantity?

jeez...

30 grams is enough to sell... I would lower that.

But decriminalization is good news!

"He has not revealed where he will draw the line between criminal and non-criminal behaviour, but he has said that trafficking will remain a serious criminal offence. "

So in other words, your countries politicians & drug lords can continue to run their operations and keep the price of marijuana where it is, while boosting the demand

I am very excited about this prospect.

Decriminalization is a step in the right direction but not good enough. Legalization is the way we should be going.

Imagine how much $ we could all make selling pot legally. I could probably quit porn
