$$$ UNLIMITED WRITING WORK! $$$

I am expanding on a very large scale and would like to hire a few additional writers. I have had numerous people submit samples to me over the years and very few of them have been able to meet my expectations so I figured I would allow everyone to submit samples and pick the best candidates out of them. I am NOT looking for outsourcing companies.

About the work:
The work varies from short gallery descriptions up to 150 word descriptions. Writing on various subjects within the straight side of the adult business (no gay/shemale stuff). The starting pay will be $0.013 per word which comes out to $1.95 for every 150 word post. However this is LONG TERM work and as long as you are reliable you will receive raises throughout your period of working with me just like my other writers have (one has been consistently working for me for over 2 years now). I prefer that you are able to do 50-75 of these 150 word posts per week but if you can handle more I have plenty of work so that would not be an issue.

You must:
Be a native english speaker.
Be reliable and be able to meet deadlines.
Have an epassporte or paypal account to receive your payments.

For the sample I would simply like you to do the following:
Go to NicoleGraves.com and read about her (membership benefits, stats, build, etc.) and write a 150 word description about Nicole. I want you to take the salesman approach and write in a way that would entice the reader into joining. I realize that this is very vague but I am done sharing my guidelines with people who I do not wind up working with. I have a very simple set of writing guidelines which need to be followed and will provide those to the parties who I am interested in working with when that time comes.

I've been doing 5 to 10 200-300 word blog posts a day lately, and by the end of the day my brain is totally fried.
If I was doing those for you I'd make about $20 a day.

I'm not flaming you and I actually don't think Lenny was either (snake doctor) but he's right. I've been writing my own descriptions and site texts for over a decade now, but over the years I've also written and sold many adult stories to other companies. I won't sell a 1500 word story for less than $50, but by your pay scale if I were to write ten 150-word descriptions I would make less than $20.

I would be amazed if any skilled writers would be willing to work for that little a pay rate.

But then again nothing surprises me anymore.

I do understand what you guys are saying though and I realize I am not going to get the most skilled writers at the rate posted. you're going to get lots of people that say they can do it but few that actually can. most people willing to work for ~a penny a word will have an adequate grasp of the english language but a sub par understanding of marketing, keyword density and so on.

That is the problem. I have hired many writers that said they could do it cheap but I have ALWAYS had to go back and edit their crap, and I am talking about some very well known names here, and I paid them a lot more that you are offering. So sincerely, good luck.

I also don't think anyone who is willing to work for those rates will read this thread and all of a sudden decide they're worth alot more and revolt on you.

I hope you find what you're looking for, but I think you're in a have your cake and eat it too situation.You want to pay less than outsourcing company rates (webmaster labor charges 3 cents per word) but want native english speaking quality writers.

So yeah, good luck with that....although on a temporary basis, I'm sure there's some people out there in a cash crunch that would pull an all nighter for an extra 50 bucks or something.

You think you're not looking for a college grad, while the work you are offering does in fact require that level of work.

You see, you're not just looking for a typist. You're looking for someone who can work reliably, meet deadlines, and deliver acceptable content - all while unsupervised.

Meanwhile, what you're offering is a high school dropout level of payment. Keep in mind, a burgerflipper makes about the same amount per hour as your future writer will make. And unlike your writer, a burgerflipper only has to follow simple directions.

So what you're looking for is a motivated self-starter who doesn't slack off and is interested in a monotonous, low pay, dead end job that adds absolutely nothing to his CV and hardly helps him develop any skills whatsoever.

Sadly, in today's economy, your search will probably be successful.

My thread is not titled "Please give me your advice on hiring writers for long term work". As I also mentioned in my post, THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT RATE.

If you wanted business replies only you probably should have stuck to the buy & sell forum

On this forum it's a given that amongst the other replies you're going to get criticism, some of it constructive, some not so much. As others have said, take the free bumps as a positive.

And from where I sit you obviously do need advice. Some that have chimed in here are actually writers or know someone who is a writer who might have considered your offer had it been a bit more shall we say lucrative.

Again, here's hoping you find someone decent.

Look...I am not sure where you "sit", but I do not need advice. If you are honestly trying to help I do appreciate it, but I would appreciate it even more if you would leave my thread be. I can pretty much guarantee I make more than 95% of the "webmasters" on here. I have already stated that if anyone is interested and has issues with the rate they can contact me privately to discuss. Those are my starting rates, take it or leave it, but I don't need advice. I can see that you are trying to be somewhat helpful but if I were looking for advice my thread title would have reflected that.

We all have different work ethics and such - what we are willing to work for, and what we are not. This differs with every individual. Not everyone holds themselves to the high standards some of you have supposedly set yourselves at. I am honest, I compensate people for their work based on the quality. Best believe if someone submitted the perfect sample to me that they would not be getting paid $1.95 per post. This will be my last response in this thread to anyone not interested in the offer.
