perhaps i just do not get it. i watched both videos. based my judgement on the video itself and not even the song. felt taylors video was a little pg-13 repeated plot cheesy but it at least contained some content. the beyonce video was just her and either 2 girls or a tranny and a girl dancing in line. Add in some occassional lighting changes and going slightly freakish with one uping the single glove jackson wore to a single metal gauntlet. it contained no real content and was as repetitive as her song was.
so how was he right? also keep in mind he said one of the best of all times too. which would make it ultra sad as i remember several cheesy mtv videos when they were barely a few months old as a network that were better than that, and they have for the most part been forgotten.

How was he right? The video ended up winning "Video of the Year" that's how he was right. So in the end Beyonce got what she deserved.
What's beyond me is how the "Video of the Year" isn't good enough to win "Female Video of the Year"....but that just goes to show how stupid the MTV VMA's really are and how they make absolutely no sense.

i had no idea she won video of the year and then did not win female video of the year. well aside from myself thinking her video sucked something fierce. there was nothing to it, nothing at all.
not sure who gave her video of the year but they must be fucked up as well. if it was mtv again then that just makes matters worse. though i pretty much dislike all award shows unless they are audience choice type. then i can perhaps get why someone would win.
hiding in a hole last few months? you can say that. i have had my head burried in my computer for the past 4-5 years non stop to build what i have. when i finally registered here and posted, instead of just lurking it for business topics and contacts was the first time i have pulled myself away from working. now i allow gfy to be my water cooler for 30-45 minutes a day. i have not watched snl, and i typically stay away from youtube unless its for some promo stuff. so again sorry.Comment
