Wow I just had a bill collector call me about some old student loans and when I told him I was out of work he said " Orly your linked in profile says you have been working at XYZ for 5 years"

I said well that's not me

he then says " well I see your sister even made a commet on your mothers myspace about your job"

"we know everything"

Google has a lot on me... including archived newsgroup messages that I posted in 1991. (Holy shit!) Luckily there's a couple of other people in the world that share the same first/last name as mine.

Bill collectors are the single most harassing mother fuckers out there. They hardly ever follow the guidelines. I once had a bill collector call my house and I told them the person did not live at that number and they kept insisting I was covering for them. Then out of the blue, the collector said they were going to report me to the authorities for drug trafficking and that I would lose my 3 year old girl and when I said I do not have any kids he paused.....then said "isnt your email blah blah blah?" I'm like, uh no. He's like "fuck, sorry ma'am, I called the wrong fucking number. Have a great day." WTF!

Holy hell, that's about over the top a little!!

I had one call me recently about a Hospital Bill for bloodwork i had done that I never got the bill for, I called and asked where it was so I could pay it and they never sent it. The next thing I knew, a Bill Collector was calling me and he was telling me that the Hospital would refuse me further service until this was paid, called me a liar when i said I had called and they never sent the bill and all this. I told him I'd call the Hospital and pay it myself directly to them, which is within my legal right to do so and he informed me that if I did that, I'd be fucking myself because I'd still have to pay him.

Week later he called me again and I told him I had paid it and he started this about how he was going to sue me for it and so on, and I told him to go for it, I have the receipt where it was paid and he'd have to go after them for his fees because I was over it. He called me JUST harrassing me all damn day that day. For $166... lmao

Caller ID is your friend. If it displays an incoming call as coming from "unknown" or "out of area" or anything of that sort, ninety nine times out of a hundred it's nobody you want to talk to. Screen your calls
