New CC Bill Fee on My Check Stub

On my affilate check I got today I noticed a "CC Bill Fee"

ANyone else notice this on thier stubs?

Before on these check stubs the only deduction Id notice on the check was the - 0.37 for the "transfer cost" fee. (for mailing it i guess)

Now Im getting more fees.
On this one little 80.00 check they took out -12.47 for this "CC Bill Fee" and 0.37 for the "transfer fee."

What the fuck is it? I dont even push many programs using CC Bill so this is all new to me.. Did I miss something?

WHat the fuck is it and are you guys getting this also?

They charging affilates 15% transactions fees now in addition to the paysite owners?? WTF?

Hey bone

here's the skinny....

membership cost the surfer 30 bucks.

partnership program cuts the webmaster 50%.

now the paysite is getting 15 bucks and the webmaster is getting 15 bucks.

Some paysites decide to pay the processing fee 11.5% - 14.5% (variable based on size) for just the 15 dollars that they are getting and some choose to pay the entire processing fee on the full 30$.

If you haven't noticed the processing fee in the past - it means you were pushing programs that choose to ate the fee themselves

ok, I only pust 2 programs using ccbill.

I push PiggyCash, and I have like a hundred check stubs in front of me now, and they all have ZERO for this CC BILL fee.

On a second account I pust Join Right Now, its new for me and it seems all the checks Ive gotten from that program VIA CC BILL have a 15% fee!

Takin 15% out of EVERY CHECK!

Looks like the affiliate is swallowing the whole fee. Bummer.

Long as they keep pumping out good quality free content, I don't care.

CCBill allows the sponsor to absorb the entire proc fee, half of it or pass it all to the affiliate. It's not a smart move to pass it all.

Yeah i dont really care either.
I just wanted to know what this fee is.

So does this mean its not really a 50/50?
More of a 65/35 partnership program?

Bone - most likely the program just has you pay the processing fee on the money you actually take home so in the previous example the 15% is taken out of the 15$ dollars. It's pretty standard.

BTW - why the fuck aren't you pushing DA you piece of shit

but wait, im not paying the entire fee.
I think im paying half of the fee.

15% is taken from my check, im sure 15% is taken from their end too.

We must be splitting the Fee.

No. Most likely you are both paying a processing fee on your share - so it's still 50/50...

30$ sale.

15$ for affiliate minus 15% = gross take home = 12.75
15$ for program owner minus 15% = gross take home = 12.75

Yep I have noticed this recently as well. So in fact it is a 35% net program rather than a 50% gross program.

Actually its still a 50/50 but the fee is part of the 50/50 also.

Its just you arent making 50% of the revenue, you are making 50% after fees.

Which is 35% of the gross. With my other 50% programs I get 50% of the gross.

I think this may be how many 60/40 rev share programs used to market??

It was 60% before the fees, which in fact made it more into a 50-50 program in the end when you get the check.

Just to touch on the math here:

If the sign-up is thirty bucks; and your 50% is 15.00; minus 15%

Your actual net percentage of the sign-up is 42.5% (not 35%)

Still not a smoking percentage though...

Actually, got a very small CCBill check today.

Gross: $37,41
CCBill Fee: -$5.18
Transfer Cost: -$0.80
Net: $31.43

... 13% cut of with their "Fee" . Not that it mattered much on this check, cause of the small gross.

Perfect reason to push some programs that run their own merchant accounts like
Fetishcash and Wasteland's program.

No processing fees and the merchants control their own scrub levels = max conversions.

Those programs cant even hold join right now's jock strap.

Join right now could make the shit 30/70 and we'd still do better.

Come on.

The issue isnt the program, the issue was this weird fee I had no idea what it was.

Its no biggie. Im sure the other processors take this fee out on us as well one way or another, and you never know.

Only reason we know is becasue ccbill puts it on thier stub.

Bone, we list Wasteland.com`s site, it´s really good and the surfers will be happy if you promote it. http://www.adultsitesurfer.com/Revie...DSM/index.html if you care to take a look, there are some SWEET sample images to check out and some good user feedback comments at the bottom. Colin has always been very prompt when dealing with me as well.

We also list a few FetishCash sites and they do well for us, even moreso than Wasteland I dare say, although we do have a few more of their sites listed.

Hope this helps, I´m off to ACAPULCO tomorrow! Woooooooooooooooooo. =) Peace out.

I've always thought it funny that ccbill deducts .37 cents for a friggin stamp

But maybe they save a lot of money doing that? Like those people who pick up dirty pennies in a parking lot.

That's pretty gay when you loose 15 % I wouldn't join any sponsors that do that unless they convert 1:100 lol

I just off the phone with CC Bill and they said that it is totally normal for a sponsor program to split 50 / 50 with there affiliates.

I understand your traffic is very valuable ( I know because I buy a lot ).

I concur

I?m not going to say anything that has not been posted before in this thread, though

Program owners have the option of either absorbing the whole CCBill fee or splitting the fee with their referral partners. We have offered that for years

On a separate note, I would like to add that the reason that CCBill scrubs is not because we are malevolent and want to cast aside good sales. Our fee is based on a percentage; the more our clients make, the more we make. However, if your chargeback rate gets too high, you lose your business. Before it was your merchant account, now it?s your merchant account, plus the added risk of getting placed on the Visa Terminated Merchant File. To those that don?t know, that is the Visa ?blacklist?. When on the list, you (and your company) cannot process Visa transactions, through a 3rd party biller, your own merchant account, whatever.

I am not going to go into the issue of the fines

Sure, if we threw the scrub out, conversions would be great?for 3 months

By the way, Colin and Angie from Wasteland are stand-up people. I have a great deal of respect for them and how they run their business.

regardless of all the fees, who makes more for amount of traffic sent? Everyone I know has been VERY VERY impressed with conversions from Join Right Now and they have some very cutting edge content that converts VERY VERY well.

Awesome program you have man. Content is fabulous.

The join conversions could be better, but the trial to full conversion and recurring conversions are great.
