And we're supposed to get 3-5 inches tonight, followed by 2-3 tomorrow. And for those of you not familiar with what happens in southern states when it snows......

Yea pretty much you don't leave your house when it snows in the mid-atlantic / south, because no one can drive in it.

OK, I agree with you on that, living in the south all my life (and presently watching the thermometer at 36 degrees, waiting for the predicted ice storm) but where the HECK is the snow/ice/inclement weather in THAT picture?

The main problem is that it never stays below 32 for long. What usually happens is rain/sleet/snow/ice at night and in the morning, then it thaws during the day. Then freezes again at night so then you have these nice sheets of ice on the roads - not snow.

Add that to the fact that the Atlanta metro area has the worse drivers in the world, and it's a recipe for disaster

Yes and in all actuality, if you wanted to get technical about it, according to einstein in a parrallel dimension there is actually snow at that crash scene, and an ocean, a lava flow, and any other numerous instances in which multiple dimensions would poduce
