i run a mainstream business and was able to snap up about 20 terms (domains) that people use to search for the service my company does. most of the terms are not every competitive, google keywords tool results below:

bu i thought about creating a landing page under each site, using wordpress and put an interesting article on each one describing what service they are looking for, and it leads them to our website.

i was thinking of having one of the sites an resource site of related articles and our press releases, and a plan to have 2 articles and 2 press releases go out a month

so the archive site would link back and forth with the resource site and each of the landing pages would have a link to the company site and the resource site

thoughts? suggestions appreciated

Sure, you can setup a domain and just link to your PR or setup a sub-blog of your news and syndicate that shit. If that's how low the traffic is, I don't know what you're really expecting to obtain - with that low of traffic it'd almost be cheaper to just buy placement on search engines.

sorry about that, my site gets about 30/50 hits a day. i want to do things to expand the traffic, so i thought of about 20 terms i would love to get the traffic for, so i registered all those term domains, so im planning on creating a resource site that i will constantly add new content to and about 20 landing pages with the wanted terms all over them pointing to both sites, with nofollow links to all outside sites

then i have a figure out ways to get links to that network + keep adding quality content

and that would suck, i did this after i read that yahoo gives more relevancy for keywords in the domain while google gives little relevancy, its out there a few places, one reference below:

Google gives very little weight to the domain name now, however it is still a good idea to include keywords in your domain so you can pick traffic up from Yahoo as well.

If he asked a simple, ANSWERABLE question, he would have gotten some help. He spoke generally of search terms, generally about articles, but didn't really ask anything, he more like tried to explain what he was doing, and asked for suggestions. The only real data he had was some search volume, which was so low that it didn't count most of them. He did not give anyone enough info about anything to offer any advice.

Bottom line, if you need to build 20 sites, to get 3 hits a day, YOU NEED THE WENDYS APP MORE THEN MOST.

Only 320? That's really not much... though it depends how unique is stuff. I was able to snap terms with around 100k monthly phrase search a while ago. Anyway, I would do every domain a separate website and then link them all to the one with business in the proper way so google wouldn't expect that all belong to the same group.

yea dude, sorry about that, i came across the wrong way there. i wanted those terms bad and that was one way to do it, once i saw i got most of them yesterday (i was surprised because the domains were just registered 3 weeks ago), i decided to cluster some of the domains and consolidate into 4 sites for those terms, then i can add scale it out if i need to.

i just began playing around with this stuff less than a year ago, and most of the terms i aimed for i was able to get, but nothing extremely competitive, just medium

You may be right that most of those keywords you target have really low traffic. However, from my experience, Google's keyword/search volume tool is really bipolar when it comes to traffic estimates. From experience, there's usually a big gap between projected numbers and the actual traffic you get. Heavy on undercounting or overcounting.
