settings>general>usage then Battery Percentage you can turn on n off....?
When they swapped my Iphone last week this feature turned up  |

is that just for 3GS though? still using my 3g... not sure if I want the upgrade for whats new.. seems like a better upgrade will be right around the corner anyway.. got the battery life app though.. kinda weak
