SAN JOSE, Calif. -- New Concept Business, which operates nearly two dozen adult websites with mostly sexual role-playing fantasy themes and affiliate programs Etu-Cash.com and Cash.Pornocruto.es, says its losing $5,000 a day in business after the FTC shut down web-hosting firm Pricewert last month.

no one ever invests in offsite backups.
no matter who the host is, always have backups safe some place else

thats not true and its a poor excuse. i learned this lesson years ago and remotely backup my sites daily.

my network isnt big enough to have a redundant system (when one server goes down, DNS is changed to backup server) but i know a lot of people that use this.

might be different with a huge business like theirs, but im sure there is a solution for them that they will not figure out.
