I don't mind their computer updates, cos their new hardware are simply that. So I upgrade, when I feel my current MBP is out of date/slow etc, but these iphone updates are bullshit, if an OS update for current iphone users won't support these new additions. OK, ompass is a hardware feature, but the phone/mms/video are surely OS upgrades?

I would like to have thse on my 3G, but no way am I shelling out for the upgrade prices on current contract etc.... Most of this stuff is industry standard, as is a light/flash for the camera....

i wonder if all the people excited about 7.2mbps will ever use it. I have a data plan on my phone and honestly i rarely use it. And, you know ATT is going to charge like a crazy price when you're connected to a PC for sharing. watch it be 500mbs down for 60$

I will get one as soon as they are available in Canada .. Hell the internet tethering alone I have a 6GB package for $30 ( if available ) in the 3.0 update will be very nice .. cut and paste has been something i really missed .... But I think for the faster .. plus better camera and video .. I will hand my 16GB to my wife and get the new model ..
