A few paysite questions
I'm on the verge of setting up a paysite, but I have a few questions... 1. What's the best way to handle content management at a 'newbie' rate? I've seen what appears to be some fantastic programs out there, but definitely out of my price range at the moment. I'm basically looking for something to generate galleries at this point, and anything else is a bonus. 2. What is a good amount of photos per set? I'm thinking somewhere around 75-100 quality pictures 3. A few questions about CCbill.. a) don't they charge something like $700 to start? b) what are good members management scripts that run well with ccbill? c) why don't sites accept paypal? Does PP only do non adult which forces people to stay with ccbill? 4. How is retention these days? Assuming I give them exactly what I promise in the tour (no tricks or gimmicks), update content on time like promised and have her do weekly or bi-weekly cam shows, what can I expect for retention? Ballpark figures obviously because I know it also depends on the personality of the girl, how members feel about her, how you tease them and want them coming back for more, etc. Thanks for the answers! Sorry if some of these questions are dumb |

				 | So to the experts out there then, say you're me. You have experience in the industry, at least know the 'ins and outs' of it. However, you're tight on cash, but you have an 18 year old girl with an extremely hot body willing to do a site either solo or hardcore (doesn't matter to her)... how do you go about it? |

				 | Do cams and clip stores first to build up some traffic and cash and content, then start a site.

But as others have already pointed out - the traditional paysite concept is growing stagnant...unless you have something unique or special to offer. That's why I strongly suggest something like fetish. Are you doing the photography/video yourself - or contracting it out? Guy-With-Camera could be a roadblock to success.

				 | I agree with Sly. Do some videos, sell them and make money from other webmasters buying her content. Sell at non exclusive value so you can still use them later once you build up enough. Use www.clips4sale.com and other places to sell her content to surfers. Register a domain for her and link to the clips4sale shop. Do some strip tease (mostly softcore/no boobs or pussy showing) and place it on youtube. Maybe get her to dance and place a watermark in the video. Just my 2c.

2. Fifty to a hundred. 3.a. Yes. For VISA processing. b. SiteDepth. c. Check their T.O.S.. PP does not process for 'virtual' adult goods. Only tangibles. However, it is similar to paying for anything 'virtual'. You find that out when people do a charge back. 4. I can only speak to my niches... foot fetish, tickling, and celebrity. Retention is fine. Some rebill a few months, some rebill forever. Others are one hit wonders, or pop up every 2-3 months. Ultimately your pay site will play a roll in the retention piece of the equation. Your content. How often you update, etc.. Good luck chief.

I also agree with others, she definitely needs a niche. It's far too difficult to promote just a regular boring site.. She has a fantastic ass, is that still too vague of a niche to promote?

				 | Also, i'm thinking of having her do cam shows, any recommendations on cam sites? Regarding cam sites, is there any way to promote your domain with them during shows? |
