I would have a different question, true I haven't looked into their T & C's yet.
But, as far as I suppose there are at least tens of millions of people with an Amazon account already. Let's say you send them to a product, they sign in with their existing account and make a purchase, do you get commission for every referred purchase? what's the cookies expiration? In case it would be per life referral, it wouldn't make that much sense to push them.
