Does it occur to you to seek out a political forum? Lots of people on here are not American and the others are pretty young as an average age. Young people mostly don;t vote. So even if you change the mind of a few people with this crap you effect on the voting population is going to be small...

we turn a blind eye to china because they benefit corporate america..

we do nothing about the atrocities in africa..

Do you really think that dictators such as Kim Jung Il, Saddam Hussein, etc.. do not "force" their regimes upon their people? If so, why would people choose mass starvation as has happened in North Korea? Why would people choose to have hundreds of thousands of their fellow citizens simply "disappear.." which happened in Iraq?

You'd actually be surprised - ppl do not get to power by themselves, they usually get there because they are supported by the majority. In the case of Chavez (not a dictator - YET, but on his way to becoming one) he has the support of the majority in Venezuela, because he has done tons of things for the poor class - which is the overwhelming majority. The poor and uneducated do not know any better, so they follow their "fearless leader" blindly.
