blog and forum hybrid.. what cms?
im starting a blog about celeb ho's & well known pornstars. I want a forum with that, when someone registers they can use the same user account to comment on blog posts and to post on the forum.
If you know a good cms who handles this please post them (free or paid). Ive already looked around for free options, one is http://blogcms.com/ and the other is wordpress with a forum plugin like http://www.fahlstad.se/wp-plugins/wp-forum/ Both these have exactly what i want. Im leaning a bit to wordpress because i know that well, and although blogcms looks tempting ive already seen the support forums are dead. Im open to other options. And a usability question - whats the best way to have a 'real' blog/forum hybrid. For instance when i got a post about britney spears. Maybe tag it, and automatically link it to the forum topic about britney spears, and back. Like when a new post tagged with britney spears appears on the blog that in the britney forum topic an automatic post appears linked to the blog post. Just a little thought here, pretty good idea huh? |

We do a lot of Drupal work, but it's advanced... WordPress is a great, simple application.
